The agents that were invaluable to my getting my house, Brian and Marni Linder, have just listed something pretty amazing. R.M. Schindler's 1939-1040 house for Albert Van Dekker. In Woodland Hills this is one of Shindler's largest residential projects.
First the good news. It is quite original and at under a million, not super expensive.
Now the bad news. It needs a lot of work.

Tucson 2009 - Fossils! Gems! MInerals!
Definitely my favorite show of the year, even though I have very little actual buying to do there. There are something like 20 different shows all over Tucson for the month of February. AGTA show has fine gemstones and jewelry in the convention center. Some shows fill a Motel 6 with people showing stuff in their rooms. Pyrite sellers from Spain, Russians with meteorites in another, Afghans with lapis in another, petrified wood from Indonesia and Madagascar filling tents in the parking lot. It just doesn't end.
